Next week Wednesday I have selection round 2 in Hamburg, for the FNPT simulator phase. This will be a test in the Diamond-42 simulator. My question to you guys, does anyone know what to expect and to prepare for? I used to know it was on a Piper Seneca Simulator, however now it is on a Diamond 42. Well they must have sent you a Sim Screening Briefing document, or if not check if it's available to download from the Career.aero portal, it should be in there.
They basically want to check your basic conventional IFR flying skills: all hand flown, no autopilot or autothrottle, no flight director, no magenta line, NAV based on raw data bearing needles.
Profile usually consists of a SID, some airwork, hold entry, precision approach, missed approach, non-precision approach.
