It’s no doubt come to the attention of the commissioners that Qantas desperately needs a face saving outcome here but, as many have mentioned, Fairwork will be making a lot of work for themselves if they go out of their way to protect IR’s fragile egos. Either way a lot of people aren’t waiting to find out what the result will be.
This is exactly why this was a screwup by management. If this drags on for 6+ months there will be no staff left. Plenty of other options around atm and realistically if things improve at Network there will always be a spot for you to return - no seniority remember..
