Bid and subsequent freeze rules are quite complex, but the rules say a new freeze will not be applied if the pilot is ‘directed’ to a new base. This would imply that one is applied for an aspirational base change on the same type.
There’s some ambiguity around the 777 LHR/ LGW bases. Are all 777 pilots dual based?
