Tell that to all the ex-747 pilots who were unfrozen during their final year on the jumbo, but now see themselves being leapfrogged to 777 commands by more junior pilots because they have been frozen on other fleets following being ‘saved from the CRS’. A seriously unjust part of the covid agreement thought up by BALPA, which was neither going to advantage nor disadvantage any pilot. The company didn’t even pay for the ex CRS pilots’ new type ratings, so why the freeze?
