It’s been idle for nearly a month, so clearly an issue on the Canadian side getting it released from the register. Now, when looking at all the issues its Maple offshoot is facing, to put it clearly, on the verge of collapse, sounds like the Canadians are refusing to process the re-registration. They pay import taxes on new aircraft over there, and it’s well clear that Flair owed nearly $70m, so perhaps they need to pay the pro rata out before it leaves. They did issue a seizure order if they didn’t pay.
