The special military operation in Ukraine has already escalated into a war due to Western interference, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in an interview with aif.ru.
"We are in a state of war. Yes, it started as a special military operation, but as soon as this company was formed there, when the collective West became a participant in this on the side of Ukraine, it already became a war for us. I am convinced of that. And everyone should understand this for their internal mobilization," the Kremlin spokesman said.
