I might also add that if you think LH will be the same as it is now in 10-15 years then I believe you are in for a bit of disappointment. Constant cost cutting and possibly single pilot cruise ops might make that min rest trip to the beach slightly less attractive. Just food for thought
I’ve heard that exact same argument made ten years ago too. We can all run pessimistic disaster scenarios until the cows come home, it’s no way to live your life. In any case that still beats the living daylights out of flogging it in and out of Gatwick multiple times a day. And will every day of the week.
