I rode my bicycle up to the airside access security checkpoint at the German airport where work day before yesterday. Two police officers were randomly standing there. Before I'd even gotten off the bicycle, they were walking over asking me what I was doing. I said the the first officer that I was going to go through security... he seemed puzzled. I showed him my security pass, and he smiled and left happily. But he was on me with no delay as to what I was doing there until I could show a valid reason. It's the next era of security I suppose, everyone simply must be aware that everyone is super vigilant, and go along with the rules. So uninvited approach to a cockpit in flight? Everyone must understand by now that that will bring on intervention!
