That upside down AI is just nuts. absolutely bonkers. My sympathy to that poor pilot, (and his passengers).
No pilot ever came up with that utterly bizarre design, surely ? Interesting though how today's sky up, Earth down Blue/Brown horizon presentation was not thought of initially. It seems beyond obvious, but clearly wasn't at the time.
Yes, pilots are well practiced in flipping things around in our heads, but this is ridiculous.
Mind you, personally I think that the speed tape presentation in modern glass cockpits is upside down. It is the opposite way round to the effect on speed of the aircraft pitch.
