Indeed, I no longer fly out of Wilson, it is just not an enjoyable experience. A while ago it was fun; a bit wild west, but busy and challenging. The last straw for me was actually the petty and stupid security. But on the ground and in the air it's pretty chaotic. Some operators have shockingly low standards, I recently flew as pax on a Fokker-50 operated by a certain company and their procedures were dangerous beyond belief. there's a lethal mix of training C150s and C172s packed into the circuit with a stream of commercial stuff coming in and out. The choke points off the end of 14 and around Monastery are total mayhem.
