I'm sure you already know this, but I'll just kick this in as part of the general discussion........ Spousal Green Cards (which is the Visa you'd get) currently take
well over a year to process, and a good bit longer if the US citizen who is the Sponsor - ie, your husband in this case - does not actually live in the USA. Maybe you already have the precious Green Card, but anyone starting from scratch would need to be careful how they sell their availability to start work to a potential US employer.
