Just recieved word I will be joining the Emirates crew later i this year.
Bringing the family with us and will be going to the villas in Meydan south.
I missed the tour during my time for assessments due to medical running late.
Does anyone have pictures, videos of the internal I can show my family for some inspiration and planning as to what to move with us/buy.

upstairs:
- four large bedrooms, 3 have large floor to ceiling windows, 1 over garage has a smaller window.
- all rooms have a built in wardrobe, again quite large, with shelves and hanging space
- all bedrooms have an ensuite, one has a bath/shower (I believe this is the “main” bedroom) we put kids in that bedroom and used a different one for the adults.
- top of the stairs, there’s a large (3x5m) space that you can put a desk or couch. Space on the wall opposite for a TV (power point and LAN plug available)
downstairs:
- double carport, no shade except for some beams. Can be covered (by you) with a roof or shade cloth as you’ll see on most other villas
- next to carport: pump room with water tank, small storage space here (however everything will end up covered in dust)
- kitchen, enter from carport, standard brown cupboards, white stone bench top. Space for an oven (you buy), space for a fridge. Space for a large dining table in kitchen area (it’s a big room)
- off the side of the kitchen are the stairs going up
- through the kitchen is the living/lounge. Huge room 7x8m from memory, plenty of power points and more LAN plugs. There is also a “front door” on the side of this room, to access requires people to walk down the side of your villa through the garden. Two large glass sliding doors facing the rear for light.
- off side of kitchen is laundry, empty room, expect to buy or add your own cabinets etc as you wish (IKEA!)
- as you walk into laundry, the maids room will be behind the laundry door as it opens (either right or left). Small bedroom, 3x3m with small ensuite.
outside
- “L” shaped courtyard going around the outside of your villa
- along the back edge we managed to fit a medium sized trampoline.
- will be largely empty, some pavers leading to front door mentioned above. Shade sail is highly recommended, some people build a small roof. Pave/tile the area or real grass or fake grass depending on what you want.
(for inspiration, I highly recommend going for a walk around MS before doing the outside, there’s some amazing setups in other Villas!!)
general:
- 24 LAN ports throughout the villa, I used a network switch and had everything via cable
- need 2x WIFI router or repeater or mesh system to reach upstairs and downstairs, 1x will NOT do it.
- lots of power points
- If you have an impact drill (hammer drill) for use in concrete or brick, bring it!!
- can fit “whole house” water filter in pump room and RO system under sink (water isn’t great)
MS community centre has a pool, sauna, gym. “All Day” shop (get their WhatsApp number and you can order for delivery, was free when we lived there). EK Medical centre as well, great for wife and kids.
IKEA will deliver and build whatever you buy from them, flat rate for assembly regardless of how much you have.
Generally MS is better than MH, if you manage to get one near a park it’s not bad.
