This quote is slightly confusing. How can the stands being at capacity (assuming he means for overnight based aircraft) bode well for future growth? Unless the strategy is entirely focused on carriers NOT basing more aircraft at EMA and flying to EMA from other bases?
Yet the passenger figures, though improving, remain way short of their peak. Methinks there are lies, darned lies and press releases!

On a separate matter the industrial dispute at DHL looks as though it is resulting in some normal EMA flights overflying and heading for Leipzig. The UK destined cargo will I imagine be flown into EMA and handled by non-union staff, while business for Ireland is probably being flown directly there from other outstations or over Leipzig. Conjecture on my behalf.
