I’ve seen some junior LHR 320 rosters that are pretty much all day trips. My understanding has always been that trips are generally more popular in the RHS than the LHS, bar for commuters. I reckon if you were willing to be flexible with start times and days off you’d be in with a solid chance of day trips and maybe some two day sixes. If you are successful (the very best of luck, it is a good place to be) there will be plenty of advice from others on how to bid! Everyone has their own formula…
Euroflyer is all day trips I believe, so you might want to think about that as well.
