Yesterday, Ukrainian pilot Vladyslav Rykov was killed during a combat sortie on a Su-25 fighter jet. He had 385 sorties to his credit.

He was the best pilot and commander I knew. He covered my back from the beginning of the full-scale war both on the ground and in the air, trained a large number of both combat subordinates and leaders," fellow pilot Lt. Col. Rostyslav Lazarenko said.
