At what stage are You in Your type rating? Is the theoretical exam and the simulator training passed and You are waiting for supervision flying/line training?

If so, take out the books. Go through the technical documentation a second time, brush up on limitations and how the various systems interact with each other. Such a second round is extremely valuable: You will find connections and understand things that You did not even see during Your first round. Examine for example the various systems: what happens if You lose them, what will be gone and what will be picked up by other systems? For example, what systems will a failed green, blue or yellow hydraulic take out that are not backed up by other systems? And so on. This will help You a lot, not only when You are discussing those systems with Your instructors lateron but also to give You a proper understanding of what the aircraft is doing below the surface.

Also - SOPs. Read the OM-A, normal and abnormal operations of the OM-B and learn those memory items by heart really well. There´s one additional memory item that is not listed in the official list: Engine failure in cruise; it comes with some switchings and requires a few considerations.

OM-C. Become acquainted with Your area of operation. Read about the airports You are going to operate to: terrain, available approaches, departures, taxi routes, local special procedures, EFCOPs, ATC peculiarities. Also, terrain in general. If You are going to operate in mountaineous terrain, look up escape procedures and also enroute alternates.

And during all this - compile a list of items that are not clear to You and that You intend to ask an instructor about. Supervision is a time for questions and discussions, any question You ask the instructor is one he does not ask You.
