58 Squadron Owl
Back in '70, I saw a photo of a 58 Sqdn. Canberra which had the Owl on a branch squadron crest on the fin replaced by TIGGER sitting on the branch with a fat belly and feathers drifting down from his mouth. One side of the fin had his front view and the other side, his rear view. Apparently it was done by a Walt Disney cartoonist doing his conscritpion/national service. The aircraft had been attending a multinational photo recce competition somewhere.
I seems that the squadron SengO had a total sense of humour failure and ordered it repainted ASAP.
