I wouldn't send an E190 to a third world pacific island with no engineers, staffed with outsourced third party ground staff who don't speak English well. With no help at the other end, air turn backs will be common place for even minor issues.
The aircraft type comes into its own when it is flown between major ports where competent staff can attend to the various niggles throughout the day. The jungle jets are known to need a CTL-ALT-DELETE quite often for spurious warnings.
Right aircraft, wrong route in my opinion.
