Another week, another variation of divert back to BNE. This must be getting expensive for Qantas!

Also for the passengers. I talked to two who had been on the divert back to BNE flight last Sunday (the said reason given was "safety") , and then on the next day the divert-via-Townsville flight (understood as due to "the plane is too heavy" and needed to avoid the developing cyclone - which SolAir happily flew over the same day), with baggage offloading thrown in.
On today's flight is a business partner. All this means expenses for the passengers too.
So the last 5 flights:
19th - cancelled
21st - divert back to Brisbane ("safety" reasons given - px)
22nd - divert via Townsville, baggage offloaded
26th - succesful flight!
28th - divert back to Brisbane ("toilets don't work")
I'm booked on 2nd!
