I think the magnitude of the door "Quality Escape" is a lot larger than has been reported. It seems to me it was a product of a profound failure of the QA processes in the entire Boeing production supple and assembly chain. It sounds like there is going to be a full audit of Boeing and the results could have far reaching consequences for the future of the company.
