The incident occurred after the aircraft made a forced emergency landing on the Loudoun County Parkway shortly after taking off from Dulles International Airport in Virginia. The Cessna Caravan reached a maximum altitude of 850 feet before executing the emergency landing. According to FlightAware, the plane was en route from Dulles to Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
