This was a 25% increase over the prior year. This places EMA 14th in the rankings of UK passenger numbers, LBA is in 13th with 78,143 more pax per year.
I think the most shocking comparison for November was the 2023 passenger figure of 188735 compared to November 2002 of 236932, that is one big gap to close. The Midlands is a slow burn for getting back to record levels in general let alone November with BHX November pax still below 2017 but fairing better compared to 2002 but that was a time when BHX followed the earth is flat approach to loco's
