I have found the Logitech QuickCam Pro 4000 USB WebCam to be a very good Webcam.

Specs:

Interface: USB2.0
Sensor: 1/4" VGA CCD(1.3 mega)
Frame Rate: 30fps@(160x120&320x240),15fps@640x480
Max. Resolutions: 640x480(24 bit color)
