-40% of our fixed pay
-housing assistance, in the most expensive real estate market in the world
-schooling assistance greatly slashed
-ALL bases, with absolutely no prospect of them ever coming back
-approximately 60% of our guaranteed monthly Provident Fund payments
-medical insurance greatly reduced, especially for family
-one/two weeks of yearly leave
-any certainty on how much you will get paid on any given month
-any visibility on your career progression, with seniority now being meaningless for upgrades & DECs and DEFOs
-any number of small perks, like being able to have family on jumpseats, or even simply get a positioning duty changed to another date (cannot)

I’ll add to that! Got an email just before that new year thanking me for my 10 years of service! (Albeit 2 years late). Here is $HKD500 as a token of our appreciation- btw you’ll be liable to pay tax on it and to cap it off, to make an appointment, I need to book it in 3 months in advance to claim my $500.
