So I bag another 1960's British research aircraft! Roll on the H126 and HP115.
Converted from Fairey FD2 but something has always bugged me. Why did they convert WG774 which had held to world speed record, first over 1000 mph, in 1956 and not the near identical non record holding WG777? Not many countries would deliberately destroy the originality of such a national icon. Anyone any idea why?
