Sueing the aircraft manufacturer for its product not being up to flying perfectly in all conditions is simply ridiculous
Wasn't there a case twenty years ago because someone had died as a result of an engine failure, it transpired that he hadn't done any of the recommended servicing, even changing the oil, for many hours and years and his widow
still won substantial damages?
I've always heard that one quoted as why the US light aviation industry effectively died.
