Loganair has no exclusive right nor monopoly on any routes from SOU and instead should understand open competition just like any other successful business. Sounds more like sour grapes to me and suggest they start reducing their fares first before toys out of pram. If they cannot price competitively because of their business model, don’t expect others to stand by whilst demand from the general public suffers accordingly!
Alternatively, LM have probably looked at a SOU-MAN route, seen what EZY have done to other SOU routes and decided that it's not worth the risk. Free market economics work both ways.
