Plenty of aircon in Darwin, and cheap accomodation, not to mention cheap rental cars, and a lot of wet weather! Darwin in Feb gets just a bit over a 1000 pax a day domestically from all flights which number around 20.
BTW CASA has nothing to do with which airlines have the right to fly passengers to Australia.
