For 2024, a good start would be for easyJet to add MAN, AGP and CDG, anything more would be a bonus. MAN as this route is currently missing and believe it would prove successful, AGP was always a busy BE route and CDG for onward worldwide connections (replacing the dreadful Eastern service to the wrong Paris airport). Don’t think they will do anything out of the ordinary at present and also difficult with SOU being a non orange base, maybe also some regional France such as NCE/BOD, common denominator is any expansion has to be from easyJet bases. Other than that, Frankfurt would be good although cannot see Lufthansa adding when they are cutting regionals elsewhere (maybe once City Airlines is fully up and running) and Wizz would be welcome with a couple of destinations to Poland/Romania. Should make for an interesting year ahead!
With a difficult financial year ahead,I can't see much development on new routes,Easy might add another extra Palma flight,but a base is not feasable with The Airport opening hours. The Paris route needs a new operator,but it's not clear where this could come from.
