I can never understand why they did not junk those absolutely useless Gyron Juniors and fit (say) Avons,the gyrons were never ever sorted properly - little wonder that poor old Godfrey Auty was voted ''the pilot most likely to eject'' at the ETPS Dinner.
Never mind the 188 - the Gyron Juniors were lethal in the Bucc S1 as well
