Besides the obvious remark about what 'competent' is defined as, the rest of the CAA webpage states:
"A new company established for the purpose of purchasing the aircraft etc. from an AOC holder is a new legal entity and must apply for a new AOC prior to the commencement of commercial operations."
Won't that cover Global?
I just don't see this as the quick shortcut to an AOC they may seem to think it is.
