Why do VB recruit ? well it's call expansion, when you think that for every A/C they receive they will need anywhere between 4 to 6 crew assigned to it, (I guess it changes from Airline to airline.)
I'm not sure where people are getting their figures
"30 to 40 crew a month" if you do the maths with a 4 crew per A/C you will have 10 A/C that could not be crewed (sort to speak).
With those figures I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be flying so many A/C.

As someone as stated in their post reply Austealians like to travel and therefore do chop and change jobs to keep up with their chosen life style, the main reason I see resignation amongst the obvious ones is that mane crew members are younger and choose to get into the airline industry for a short period of time.
They come in do their job, work hard , have fun and move on.
As someone else has stated as the number of CC that really do come in the job as a career increases the number of resignation will definitelly decrese, but offcourse it will never disappear completely.

Cheers Red
