There are going to be a lot of aircraft write offs.
We had a Baron go under water at the old strip at Moomba in 74. The water was up to the bottom of the instrument panel.
Sand was left behind in the crankcases.
The Baron flew again.
Obviously fresh water at Moomba whereas the Cairns flood could have some salt content.
