Journey time just 4 hours.
Although I want to go to LPL (to see an old Pal who lives in the heart of the City) a trip flying from SOU to MAN via BFS was slightly quicker and cheaper at £43!
Beat that folks stuck on the M5/M3/M6 whatever, or on Cross Country bloody trains...LOL
I very nearly did this for a work trip down to Chichester last week. I backed down in the end because I didn't know what the connection would be like in Belfast. Is it generally an okay experience? If so, this is my method of getting down to the south coast for work going forward. Due to issues on the trains (again) it took me nearly 8 hours to get home on Friday, to the tune of almost £200. Absolute no brainer.
