Not bad going for a first S24 season , let’s see how it all goes
Regarding TUI.
If BA City Flyer do indeed leave Southampton after the 2024 summer season it would be interesting to see how TUI responds.
It would be great if they resumed IBZ at some point. Ibiza is a very popular destination for all generations and I'm certain that there is a local demand. Ibiza has been served from Southampton on various occasions in the past.
TUI most recently used Volotea for their Ibiza and Palma flight's. Volotea also offered scheduled flights to Southampton from Ibiza and Palma along with their charter flights operated on behalf of TUI.
Volotea in 2014 or 2015 operated upto five flights a week into Southampton.
Ibiza 1 weekly scheduled flight, TUI booked seats on the scheduled flight
Palma 2 weekly scheduled flights
Palma 2 weekly charter flights on behalf of TUI
If, for example, BA City Flyer does actually leave Southampton then hopefully TUI will remain in some way. But with what aircraft. It would be great to see TUI use Volotea again at Southampton with the possibility of resuming Ibiza and Mahon.
