Apologies and sincere thanks to all. I had completely forgotten about this question. To answer I got the licence in 1995 and it does say it remains valid for the holders lifetime unless revoked or varied so I assume it’s a lifetime licence. That said I appreciate things have likely changed again. Unfortunately I haven’t been in a position to move forward with revalidation but hopefully soon.
