There has to be trust, they already had provided weapons that could hit into Russia and bar the use of a couple of vehicles they haven’t.

The Ukrainians are not stupid, they know the risks involved if used on Russia and that the supply line would cease overnight, they are not stupid enough to risk that as it is their lifeline to freeing their Country..

Long range missiles of the type we are talking about wouldn’t cause significant damage to a city the size of Moscow anyway.
