Why are you focussed on the idea that they expected it “right now” with no delay? They fully accepted there was going to be
some delay. No one since has suggested otherwise. As Del Prado points out, their request means an extra couple of miles need to be made, that’s it. 40 minutes+ to create a single gap is frankly ludicrous. And if they never intended to create that gap, why tell them the delay was 10 minutes?
