A FO I was flying with the other day spent close to a week there on WDOs. He worked out that his FO pay was higher then a NZ CPT for the year, it's just not right.
I love the cuzzies over the ditch, but they are getting screwed in their contract.
That is exactly the sort of behaviour that means the NZ contract will not improve. The Kiwis are trying there hardest to improve the contract but the Aussies come over on days off which masks the crew shortage and then they lose their bargaining power.
