Well, in theory yes, the official BEA report says that the pilot ( 59 years old) held a CPL, with the restriction OML on his Class 1 medical , ( to fly in with multiple crew, so not alone) . He had 13.000 h of which 7500 on the PC6 , he was also the chief pilot of his outfit. But the report does not uses this a contributing factor, the lack of briefing and coordination with the wingsuits and their capabilities , which were unusual for the pilot used to fly parachute divers, , are cited as the main cause.
