That is not the way things work anymore, public want 24hr ordering and next day delivery.
They want a cheap flight to the sun and are quite happy to arrive back at 02:00 if it will be cheaper.
Is it being responsible already encouraging newer aircraft.
We are an island so rely more heavily on air travel for connectivity so comparing with the likes of some Germany cities ( not Cologne & Leipzeg ) or Switzerland is not the same.
I am struggling to find UK night ban, are the thinking of LHR? There is no formal ban on night flights at Heathrow but since the 1960s, the Government has placed restrictions on them. Night-time (23:30 - 06:00) operations at Heathrow are heavily restricted by the Government, which sets a limit of 5,800 night-time take-offs and landings a year.
