A320 NEO engine issues are affecting operators worldwide, early next year the picture might be a bit clearer regarding crew requirements. F/O numbers a bit light at the moment as many upgrades took place but pre COVID cadets are being brought back. A few who were laid off have returned but not in large numbers. A few are leaving for CX and the Middle East.
Internal movement from the bus to the 78 and new Embraer fleet is being advertised. China flying is increasing but dependent on aircraft and crew availability.
If interested, put in an application but don’t expect much until early next year. Remember Singapore is very expensive, doable if you’re single, a bit tight for a Captain with kids and an F/O with a family will struggle.
