I was going to say DC-9 based on that red lever in the pic. It would correspond to the emergency gear extension lever in the DC-9...in the floor by the F/O's left foot.
But when someone said they saw it in a museum and it was a DC-8, I thought maybe it could be. I don't know anything about a DC-8. Maybe it also has an emergency gear extension lever it that same spot ?
