then there was the Canadian SAR/F/Ldg one with lots of`blood` as well.....!
"No Time to Lose" - an excellent, well-produced RCAF crash-survival film:
I saw this when I was with UBAS at Shawbury. We were weathered-out one winter's day and so the Boss organised a film show, instead of stacking to the bar.
The Air Cadets from 8 AEF next door were invited to watch as well. Before the film started, their Flight Lieutenant warned them that the film was quite graphic and if anyone felt unwell, they could go outside.
The cadets were lapping up the blood and gore, which culminated (10:15) in a close-up of a chest wound with the pronouncement "A sucking wound - it bubbles with breathing." There was a moan at the back of the room and when the lights went up, the little bu**ers were delighted to see that their officer had fainted!
