As I read the article that this came from, on the Drive, I was interested to learn that the Eagle (In this iteration) is fly by wire.
Nice airshow bit.
It was the introduction of FBW on the QA and SA (and consequently the EX) that permitted activation of the Eagle's outboard wing stations.
