Looks like any green traction to reduce or maintain limits on passengers has just lost its biggest champion with the Dutch Government abandoned setting new limits at Schiphol.
Speaking to a local, they do want to encourage larger aircraft and to discourage the insane number of flights to city pairs, London being an example 50-60 a day.
Easyjet take note, a 321 might not be the answer and might discourage further flights like SEN to exist. Smaller aircraft attracting more of a stealth green tax which might force higher LCY fares which would be good for SEN but it would need to generate enough passengers to fill them.
