Probably worse for those in AKL/CHC/WLG who can only use the credit from ZQN. Virgin does not permit use on partner airlines.
Holding on to money paid for a service/product that the business no longer provides strikes me as a bit iffy.
Putting a "use it or lose it" expiry condition on money paid for a service/product that the business no longer provides sounds like theft, but with a few more steps than usual.
