The one "responsible" saw the plainly-obvious writing on the wall months ago and, having hitched his (your) wagon to it, timed his departure to be comfortably ahead of it. Anyone from Albo downward who didn't see what the result would be either wasn't paying attention or was delusional.
He played the entire country and especially the serious industry groups such as the Pilots and LAMEs for a bunch of hopeful chumps and left with pockets lined while giving away your money in freebies to his cause-
célèbre. He lied to and played off one group against the other a few years back during that shameful debacle. This is par for the course in large public industry these days and you should get used to it.
The irony is most of these people probably don't even have any serious personal belief in the cause but merely see an opportunity for corporate virtue signaling. Well, the gay marriage vote being the obvious exception.
Now that he's gone and you don't have to wear rainbow badges or "Yes" pins anymore I'd like to see the crew abandon those "welcome" PAs too. While at it, please do something about that ridiculous uniform.
