I have had another look as to what is happening regarding airport access and to see what has changed since my last visit.
The drop off area access and exit has been reversed so departing traffic hasn’t got to cross the path of arriving traffic. Arriving traffic now enters via the fire station access road with the drop off on the immediate right. Traffic then leaves via the entry point to the mid term.
Issue. The tunnel footpath is so narrow that 2 baggage trolleys can’t pass each other due to the railings when suitcases are laid sideways.
The traffic situation to the drop off doesn’t seem to be improving.

The shuttle buses have gone back to their original pre Dart position. The buses used are now exclusively standard single decker buses. Strangely there is no signage to say the Dart is not running with the signs still pointing in the opposite direction, as seen on the sign.
