Those cars on the top floor of the MSCP will probably have been subject to fairly extreme heat. Which could have damaged tyres, blistered paintwork, distorted electronics, changed the strength/composition of adhesives, plastics and other components. To say nothing of potential smoke damage. Just because they look undamaged, doesn't mean they are. If I owned one of those cars, I think I may prefer it to be written-off to being saddled with a lemon for a few years.
